Power Transmission Systems Operating in Dusty Environments All Season Long
Sprayers, grape harvesters, and telehandler cooling fans place continuous demands on their drive systems, often in environments heavily laden with dust and plant debris. These conditions accelerate belt wear and gradually clog pulley grooves, reducing transmission efficiency long before any component failure occurs.
In this context, rubber compound formulation becomes a critical design factor, directly impacting performance and service life.

Our Belt Drive Solutions
Ribbed Belts
As the inventor of the ribbed belt concept, we remain a global reference in engineering and calculation-based design for belt-driven power transmission systems.
This technology transmits torque through multiple longitudinal ribs, enabling the use of smaller pulley diameters while maintaining high efficiency within a compact installation envelope.
Its outstanding resistance to dusty operating conditions makes it the preferred solution for a wide range of agricultural equipment, from tractors and grape harvesters to sprayers.
Elastic Belts
Elastic belts eliminate the need for tensioners, as their inherent elasticity maintains the required belt tension throughout operation.
The benefits are immediate: reduced weight, fewer components, and lower maintenance requirements. When the application requires a mechanical clutch function, these belts can be combined with dedicated idler solutions specifically designed for the system architecture.
V-Belts and Synchronous Belts
Not every application calls for the same transmission technology. To address a broad range of requirements, we offer a complete portfolio of V-belts and synchronous belts.
Synchronous belts are particularly well suited to applications where precise timing and synchronization between driven components are essential.
Idlers and Pulleys
A transmission system cannot deliver consistent performance if belt tension varies over time. That is why we supply the full range of complementary components, including idlers, fixed and two-position tensioners, dynamic tensioners, hydraulic tensioning systems, and our own pulley solutions.
All components are engineered and sized as part of a single system calculation, allowing you to validate the complete transmission architecture before the first prototype is built.
