Poly V HPP®
The HPP® (High Power & Performance) belt is a longitudinally ribbed power transmission belt. It combines high performance, easy installation and reliability, with a power transmission capacity of up to 15% higher.
Its compact design facilitates integration into installations, while its construction ensures a long service life and reduced maintenance costs. Easy and quick to install, it also helps reduce noise levels and offers great application flexibility to suit a wide range of industrial configurations.
Our HPP® Poly V belts are available in three profiles: PK, PL and PM.
- Increased power transmission capacity
- Compact design
- Reduced maintenance costs
Expertise
Drawing on its expertise in the design and manufacture of power transmission solutions, Hutchinson has developed the HPP® (High Power & Performance) belt specifically to meet the requirements of the industrial sector.
This expertise enables Hutchinson to offer a solution combining high performance, reliability and durability, with high power transmission capacity, a compact design and a long service life. Thanks to its optimized design, the HPP® belt also facilitates installation and maintenance while helping to reduce noise levels and operating costs.
Structure
This architecture has been specifically developed to reduce vibrations, minimize noise levels and lower maintenance costs, while improving the belt’s reliability and service life.
The rubber-coated fabric effectively protects the belt against most physical and chemical aggressions and also allows the use of a reversing roller.
The aramid cord, distributed across the entire width of the belt, enables the required tension level to be reached quickly after the break-in period. It ensures stable and consistent tension throughout the belt’s service life.
Finally, the ribs rubber ensures efficient power transmission by distributing loads evenly across the entire belt. Its excellent abrasion resistance significantly contributes to extending the belt’s service life.
Characteristics
- Optimized molding process, ensuring consistent and uniform thickness while minimizing manufacturing waste.
- Long-term tension stability: no retensioning is required throughout the belt’s service life.
- High transmission ratios, making the belt suitable for applications requiring significant speed reduction or increase.
- Low minimum wrap diameters, providing greater flexibility for integration into compact systems.
- High installation flexibility, with the option of using a tensioner or a stepped pulley depending on the application configuration.
