Sensors, Encoders, Detection & Measurement
for Floor Care Machines
Your Brush Must Adapt Its Power to Every Floor Surface
Floor care equipment relies on precise brush speed measurement to adjust cleaning performance to different types of flooring. Inaccurate measurements can compromise cleaning quality and make troubleshooting more complex.
The challenge is even greater in cleaning applications, where water is constantly sprayed around the brush area. This continuous exposure to moisture subjects sensors to harsher operating conditions than conventional applications, making long-term measurement accuracy more difficult to maintain.

Our Measurement and Detection Technologies
Magnetic Encoder Rings
We develop and manufacture encoder rings consisting of a metal insert and an elastomer compound loaded with magnetic particles. Combined with a sensing probe, they provide precise speed and position information from the brush shaft.
Their excellent bonding performance and measurement accuracy make them suitable for both industrial and high-speed applications.
Absolute Inductive Sensors
Our technology is based on eddy current principles, making it inherently immune to low-frequency stray magnetic fields.
In machines where motors and control electronics operate together in a humid environment, this immunity prevents measurement drift that can be difficult to identify and diagnose.
The sensor also delivers an absolute position signal immediately upon power-up, without requiring a reference movement. This eliminates initialization procedures and enables immediate operation after every restart.
