Magnetic sectors

Magnetic sectors ensure the precise measurement of the angular position and speed of rotating systems using magnetic encoding.
They utilise magnetic ring technology: an elastomer filled with magnetic particles bonded to a metal insert, ensuring position and speed control in the most demanding environments (mud, dust, sand, salt, oil, grease, etc.) at very high speeds and acceleration.
Magnetic sectors are suitable for applications that do not require 360° angular coverage, thereby reducing overall size and costs.

  • Anisotropic ferrite technology; rare-earth solutions for the highest magnetic fields
  • Compounds: NBR (-40 to +140 °C) and HNBR (up to 150 °C)
  • Filler content enabling a hardness of up to 50 Shore D
  • Remanence up to Br = 3500 G, coercive field 240 kA/m
  • Single or multiple magnetic tracks, with singularity or dipole
  • Customised magnetic pattern, single or multiple magnetic tracks and customised pole configuration
  • Resistance to impact, vibration, oils and greases
