Magnetic Rings
We develop standard and custom magnetic rings consisting of a metallic carrier bonded to a magnetically loaded elastomer.
Used in combination with a sensor, they provide accurate position or speed feedback directly from the robot joint. This compact integration is particularly valuable in robotic systems, where installation space within each joint is extremely limited.
Dual-Track Rings for Absolute Position Measurement
Dual-track magnetic rings are the ideal solution for industrial applications that require immediate absolute position feedback at power-up.
The technology uses two magnetic tracks whose calculated offset provides the exact position without the need for a reference movement or homing sequence. This capability is especially important for robots that must resume operation from the exact same position after every shutdown or interruption.
