Sensors, Encoders, Detection & Measurement
for Hydroelectric power
Your Control System Depends on Reliable Real-Time Measurement
Your turbine must continuously provide accurate speed and position data to its electronic control system in real time. Inaccurate measurements can disrupt synchronization with the electrical grid, degrading power quality and potentially triggering an automatic disconnection. The humid conditions and often remote locations of hydroelectric installations make maintaining this level of accuracy even more challenging.

Our Sensing and Measurement Technologies
Magnetic Rings
We develop and manufacture magnetic rings consisting of a metallic carrier combined with an elastomer compound loaded with magnetic particles. Paired with a sensing probe, they provide precise speed and position data from turbine and generator shafts.
Their bond strength, durability, and measurement accuracy make them suitable for both industrial and high-speed applications.
Absolute Inductive Sensors
Our technology is based on eddy-current principles, making it inherently immune to low-frequency electromagnetic interference, a significant advantage in the vicinity of generators and power equipment.
The sensor delivers an absolute position value immediately upon power-up, without requiring any reference movement or homing sequence. This capability is particularly valuable when restarting equipment after a power outage, ensuring immediate operational readiness.
Each sensor is also engineered with its installation environment in mind, enabling seamless integration into existing control and monitoring systems.
