Gangways

Opencirculation gangways are designed to ensure a safe and comfortable transition between the carriages of a train or tram. Thanks to their self-supporting design, passageways require no additional vertical supports, thereby eliminating any interference with the vehicle’s coupling bar and reducing wear and maintenance.
Our gangways are manufactured from fire- and smoke-rated rubber, reinforced with metal plates for the floors and integrated fabric for the bellows.
The floor is level with that of the vehicle, allowing easy access for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The inter-car connectors are fully enclosed and watertight, protecting passengers from external conditions. They offer high levels of acoustic and vibration insulation, significantly reducing noise between carriages.
Hutchinson supplies high-speed trains, Paris metro trains (MP89CA/CC – MP05NG – MP14) and regional metric-gauge railcars (AMG800).
We also develop all types of interconnection solutions, such as airport jet bridge bellows.
