Sensors, Encoders, Detection & Measurement
for Freight trains
Your Axles Must Deliver Reliable Measurement Across the Entire Network
Your freight train must accurately monitor axle speed and position to ensure safe operation. Inaccurate measurements can delay the detection of overheating bearings or wheel slip, allowing minor issues to develop into critical failures. The railway environment, with its constant vibration, harsh weather conditions, and demanding operating cycles, makes maintaining this level of accuracy particularly challenging over the lifetime of your rolling stock.

Our Sensing and Measurement Technologies
Magnetic Rings
We develop and manufacture magnetic rings combining a metal carrier with an elastomer compound loaded with magnetic particles. When paired with a sensing probe, they provide precise speed and position data from the axles of your rolling stock.
Their durability, bond strength, and measurement accuracy make them suitable for both industrial and high-speed railway applications.
Absolute Angle Sensor
Our absolute angle sensor is based on eddy-current technology and operates within a frequency range of 2 to 5 MHz.
Its extremely low latency enables highly accurate absolute angular position measurement, providing a direct contribution to operational safety and vehicle monitoring. We showcased this technology at the international InnoTrans exhibition, the leading event dedicated to the global rail industry.
