Sensors, Encoders, Detection & Measurement
for Wind power
Your Rotor Must Remain Perfectly Aligned with the Wind
A wind turbine must continuously monitor both rotor speed and nacelle orientation to maximize energy production. Inaccurate measurement can cause the nacelle to become misaligned with the wind, reducing efficiency while placing unnecessary stress on critical mechanical components. The exposed location and demanding environmental conditions in which wind turbines operate make measurement accuracy even more challenging.

Our Sensing and Measurement Technologies
Magnetic Rings
We develop and manufacture magnetic rings combining a metal carrier with an elastomer compound loaded with magnetic particles. When paired with a sensing probe, they provide precise speed and position information from rotor shafts and generators.
Their durability, bond strength, and measurement accuracy make them suitable for both industrial and high-speed applications.
Absolute Inductive Sensors
Our technology is based on eddy-current principles, ensuring immunity to low-frequency electromagnetic interference, a valuable advantage in the vicinity of generators and other electrical equipment.
The sensor delivers an absolute position value immediately upon power-up, without requiring a reference movement or homing sequence. This capability is particularly important when restarting a turbine after a power outage, enabling immediate and reliable position feedback.
We also design each sensor according to its installation environment, ensuring seamless integration into existing turbine control systems.
