Level Accuracy Is Measured in Millimeters
No one notices when an elevator stops perfectly level with the landing. Yet a positioning error of just two centimeters can create a step that users may trip over when leaving the car. Achieving precise leveling depends entirely on the position data received by the control system during deceleration.
The same requirement applies to escalators, where accurate synchronization between the handrail and the steps is essential for passenger comfort and safety.

Our Measurement and Detection Technologies
Magnetic Encoder Rings
We develop and manufacture encoder rings consisting of a metal insert and an elastomer compound loaded with magnetic particles. Combined with a sensing probe, they provide precise speed and position information for traction machine and drive shafts.
Their excellent bonding performance and measurement accuracy make them suitable for both industrial and high-speed applications.
Dual-Track Encoder Rings
This technology is ideally suited to applications requiring absolute position measurement.
Our encoder rings incorporate two magnetic tracks. The primary track contains multiple pole pairs and delivers highly accurate position information, while the secondary track contains one fewer pole pair.
By calculating the difference between the two signals, the system determines the absolute position. The key benefit becomes clear after a power interruption: the system immediately knows its position without requiring a reference run.
This technology is already used in medical robotics and automated production systems, where accuracy and reliability are critical and errors cannot be tolerated.
Absolute Inductive Sensors
Our inductive sensing technology is based on eddy current principles, making it inherently immune to low-frequency stray magnetic fields.
In elevator shafts, where power cables may run alongside sensors over the full height of the building, this immunity prevents measurement drift that can be difficult to diagnose and correct.
Each sensor is also engineered with its installation environment in mind, enabling seamless integration into existing system architectures.
