Sensors, Encoders, Detection & Measurement

for Agriculture Equipment

Precision Farming Starts with Accurate Measurement

From precision seed drills to section-controlled spraying systems, modern agricultural equipment continuously monitors and adjusts operations in real time. Every one of these functions depends on accurate speed or position measurement, and even a small deviation can result in wasted inputs or uneven crop establishment.

Yet this level of precision must be maintained in harsh operating conditions, including dust, dirt, moisture, and debris.

Our Measurement and Detection Technologies

Magnetic Encoder Rings

We develop and manufacture encoder rings consisting of a metal insert bonded to an elastomer compound loaded with magnetic particles and magnetized according to a defined pole pattern.

Combined with a sensing probe, these rings provide speed or position data on rotating shafts, whether monitoring a seed metering system or a dosing rotor. Their accuracy, durability, and bonding performance make them suitable for both industrial applications and high-speed operating environments.

Dual-Track Encoder Rings

Some equipment functions require absolute position feedback rather than simple speed measurement. To address this need, we offer encoder rings featuring two magnetic tracks.

The primary track contains multiple pole pairs and delivers highly accurate position information, while the secondary track contains one fewer pole pair. By calculating the difference between the two signals, the system determines absolute position. This proven principle is widely used in automated production lines and machine tools, where repeatability is critical.

Absolute Inductive Sensors

Our inductive sensing technology is based on eddy current principles, providing immunity to low-frequency stray magnetic fields.

In agricultural equipment, where electronic systems operate alongside hydraulic motors and high-power electrical harnesses, this immunity delivers a significant advantage. Each sensor is engineered for its specific installation environment, enabling seamless integration into existing equipment architectures.
