Acoustics and vibration
for Genset power
Your Generator Set Starts Vibrating the Moment It Powers Up
A generator set combines an engine and an alternator, creating significant vibration and shock loads from startup onward. Whether installed on a stationary site or onboard a vehicle or vessel, it remains a major source of noise exposure for personnel working nearby.
If not properly controlled, vibration can eventually damage mountings and surrounding housings, while excessive noise creates challenging working conditions for operators throughout the day.

Our Anti-Vibration Solutions
Mounts for Rotating Machinery
These mounts are designed for equipment operating above 2,000 rpm, with natural frequencies ranging from 11 to 22 Hz.
Their cast-iron construction incorporates stainless-steel wire mesh cushions, enabling continuous operation in temperatures from -70°C to over +300°C. This exceptionally wide operating range even allows the isolation of exhaust manifolds, an application that conventional elastomer mounts are often unable to address.
Mounts for Onboard Equipment
Generator sets installed on vehicles or vessels require enhanced structural resistance to withstand the high acceleration forces generated during shocks and impacts.
Our all-metal mounts are specifically designed for these demanding applications. With natural frequencies between 12 and 18 Hz, they provide effective isolation for both rotating machinery and associated electronic cabinets.
Their metallic construction also ensures long-term performance stability, even in the harshest environments and under extreme temperature conditions.
