Cellular Rubber Sleeves

Cellular rubber sleeves provide thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as mechanical protection for your applications. Hutchinson formulates and manufactures elastomers in-house that are resistant to extreme temperatures, wear and fire. Available in a range of shapes and sizes, they combine flexibility, durability and reliable performance for demanding environments.

Characteristics

  • High-resilience, closed-cell elastomeric foams made from EPDM/NBR, PVC and CM
  • Customisable
  • Self-extinguishing products compliant with FMVSS 302
  • Temperature resistance up to 150 °C, including fire resistance    Density from 150 kg/m³ to 350 kg/m³
  • Tear strength from 0.5 to 7 kN/m
  • Very low thermal conductivity with a lambda value between 0.043 and 0.062 W/m°K
  • Dimensions: internal diameter from 5 to 35 mm, wall thickness from 3 to 8 mm. Other dimensions possible following a feasibility study in accordance with customer specifications
