Acoustics and vibration
for Air Conditioning
Your HVAC Systems Generate Two Distinct Sources of Disturbance
HVAC units incorporate compressors and fans that generate continuous low-frequency vibrations. These vibrations can weaken a building’s supporting structure over time and create acoustic disturbances for nearby occupants. At the same time, airflow noise propagating through ventilation ducts creates a second source of nuisance, separate from mechanical vibration.

Our Acoustic and Anti-Vibration Solutions
Metal Spring Mounts for Fans
These mounts combine one or two steel plates with multiple heavy-duty springs, each incorporating a stainless steel wire mesh cushion. This fully metallic design is particularly suited to HVAC equipment installed outdoors or on rooftops, where elastomer-only solutions may reach their performance limits.
To ensure long-term durability in exposed environments, all metal components are protected with a corrosion-resistant coating.
Acoustic Ducts for Ventilation Networks
Our acoustic ducts reduce noise transmitted through HVAC ductwork, providing attenuation of up to 30 dB depending on the frequency range being treated.
Their construction combines a coated fabric outer layer with insulating glass wool, supported by a helical reinforcement that preserves duct flexibility. These solutions are also available for electronic equipment cooling systems and cabin air-conditioning applications, where installation space is often limited.
