Protecting What Sealing Alone Cannot

A stone thrown by the machine or contact with a tree stump is enough to damage an exposed component. Vibrations that gradually loosen a connector can have the same effect. While these issues do not create leaks, they slowly wear down wiring harnesses and exposed components until failure occurs.

These risks are also among the easiest to address, provided they are considered during the design phase, before the machine reaches production.

Our Protection and Cushioning Solutions

Foams and Cellular Rubber Materials

In handheld equipment, every gram and every millimeter matter. Foam and cellular rubber materials address both constraints by delivering excellent cushioning and insulation performance with minimal weight and space requirements.

We use them to secure sensitive components, isolate heat-sensitive areas, or meet other application-specific design requirements.

These materials also provide effective impact absorption. Our cellular foam sleeves deserve particular attention, as they simultaneously protect wiring harnesses from mechanical damage while providing acoustic insulation. Two challenges are solved with a single component.

Custom-Cut Components

Every machine includes areas that cannot be addressed with standard products. For these applications, we manufacture components precisely tailored to your requirements, using either solid or cellular rubber materials and without the need for dedicated tooling.

This flexibility is particularly valuable for medium production volumes, where the investment in a specific mold would not be economically justified.

Protective Bellows

Protective bellows shield moving rods, linkages, and articulated components from external contaminants.

They prevent the ingress of dirt, debris, and foreign particles while accommodating movement freely and without restricting equipment performance.
