Slimline Sealing Washers

The Slimline sealing washer (SLSW) delivers reliable axial sealing performance in automotive HVAC connectors, replacing traditional radially compressed O-rings. It offers a high-performance technical alternative for demanding applications. This ring consists of a carbon steel insert (cold-rolled and work-hardened strip), protected by a Zn-Ni anti-corrosion coating. Inside, a trapezoidal-section elastomer ring is bonded and vulcanized, ensuring excellent mechanical and chemical resistance. The violet EPDM elastomer compound used is specially formulated to provide optimal resistance to R1234yf refrigerant, meeting the requirements of modern air-conditioning systems.
