The Most Disturbing Noise Is the One Traveling Through the Structure
Building occupants rarely complain about noise passing through a wall. More often, they notice a disturbing sound without being able to identify its source. Elevator machinery, ventilation units, and heating pipework transmit vibrations directly into walls and floor slabs, which then carry them through the building, sometimes several floors away.
Because this noise travels through the structure itself rather than through the air, it becomes extremely difficult and costly to correct once the building has been completed.

Our Acoustic and Vibration Isolation Solutions
Floating Floor Systems
Floating floors decouple a slab from the supporting structure, making them one of the most effective solutions for impact noise and heavy machinery isolation.
Our system combines three complementary elements. A metal housing contains a low-frequency spring, while an elastomer layer isolates higher frequencies.
An integrated adjustment mechanism allows the slab to be raised and leveled during installation. This combination delivers broadband isolation performance, unlike resilient mats alone, which typically allow low frequencies to pass through.
Heavy-Duty Isolation Mounts
Curtain walls and structural support interfaces require compressive performance beyond the capabilities of conventional solutions.
Our sandwich mounts combine one or more elastomer layers bonded to flat, parallel steel plates, allowing them to withstand compressive stresses ranging from 20 to 100 bar.
Performance characteristics can be tailored by adjusting elastomer hardness and the number of intermediate plates. The elastomer also offers excellent resistance to weathering and environmental exposure, making it particularly suitable for façade attachments and permanently exposed structural interfaces.
Metal Suspension Systems
Where environmental conditions or operating temperatures exceed the limits of elastomer-based technologies, metal suspension systems provide an effective alternative.
Their core component is a metal cushion manufactured from knitted and compressed stainless-steel wire. Combined with stainless-steel springs, these suspension systems can achieve natural frequencies as low as 3 Hz.
For low-speed rotating machinery, vibration attenuation can reach up to 98%, delivering exceptional isolation performance in demanding applications.
Acoustic Foam Solutions
Airborne noise from technical rooms is best controlled at its source. Our acoustic composites combine polyurethane foams and cellular rubber materials to provide insulation, absorption, and damping within a single solution.
Suitable for both partial and full acoustic enclosures, these materials help reduce noise emissions while improving comfort and acoustic performance throughout the building.
