Precision sealing
for Forestry Equipment
Your Hydraulic Systems Operate Under Extreme Pressure
Forestry cranes and harvesting heads place continuous demands on hydraulic systems, generating pressure peaks with every gripping and cutting operation. The operating environment adds further complexity, with sticky sap, persistent moisture, and exposure to harsh outdoor conditions.
As a result, sealing components must withstand both mechanical stress and chemical exposure throughout their service life.

Our Sealing Solutions
Dynamic Sealing
Dynamic sealing is at the heart of forestry equipment performance, where most components rotate, reciprocate, or slide under load. Our portfolio includes more than 2,000 rotary shaft seal references, continuously enhanced through ongoing material and design developments to meet the evolving demands of the forestry industry.
Our shaft seals are available in a wide range of configurations, combined with material solutions selected according to rotational speed, pressure, and operating conditions. Bellows and diaphragms complement this offering for components subject to linear motion.
Static Sealing and Hydraulic Fittings
Every hydraulic hose on your machine ends with a fitting, and every fitting represents a potential leakage point. We manufacture rubber-to-metal bonded seals engineered to withstand pressure and vibration simultaneously, even under severe temperature conditions.
These solutions are particularly well suited for sealing beneath bolt heads and within hydraulic pipe and fitting connections, where reliability is critical.
O-rings remain the industry standard for static sealing applications and are available in a wide range of elastomer compounds selected according to the fluid in contact with the seal.
Material Selection
Material choice is a key factor in determining long-term sealing performance and service life.
NBR and EPDM compounds address a large proportion of application requirements, while HNBR materials are particularly suited to environments exposed to hydraulic oils and demanding operating conditions. For equipment operating at high altitudes or during prolonged winter conditions, we typically recommend low-temperature FKM compounds to ensure reliable sealing performance in cold environments.
