Acoustics and vibration
for Forestry Equipment
Your Equipment Operates Through Cutting, Extraction, and Impact
Wood chippers, forestry mulchers, and harvesting heads do not generate smooth, predictable vibrations. Instead, they are subjected to repeated impacts with every blade pass and every material engagement. These irregular loads place significantly greater stress on structures than conventional harmonic vibrations.
The resulting shocks are transmitted throughout the machine, affecting both the carrier and the operator. As a result, vibration isolation solutions designed for conventional rotating equipment are often insufficient for these demanding applications.

Our Vibration and Acoustic Isolation Solutions
Elastomeric Mounts
These solutions use elastomer elements, either as standalone components or bonded to metal supports, to absorb multidirectional loads. Their role is to isolate excitation forces and prevent the transmission of noise and vibration into the surrounding structure.
We offer a broad range of configurations within each product family, enabling us to select the solution that precisely matches your load requirements rather than compromising with the closest available option. Some designs achieve more than 90% vibration isolation at 1,500 rpm while maintaining a consistent installed height across a wide load range.
Metal Isolation Mounts
Metal mounts complement elastomeric solutions when operating conditions become too demanding for conventional rubber-based materials. Their key component is a stainless steel wire mesh cushion, engineered from woven stainless steel wire to deliver exceptional mechanical resistance and durability.
We manufacture more than a thousand standard references and can also develop custom geometries when application requirements demand a tailored solution.
Certain designs combine stainless steel wire mesh with spring technology, achieving natural frequencies as low as 3 Hz. This enables vibration attenuation levels of up to 98% on low-speed machinery, a critical advantage for slow-rotating shredders and forestry equipment.
Elastic Bushings
Elastic bushings provide a discreet yet highly effective solution for articulated assemblies. They significantly reduce play and friction, minimizing wear on moving components while reducing the noise generated during operation.
They are suitable for assemblies subjected to axial, radial, or torsional loads, offering a reliable alternative to conventional mechanical bushings.
Acoustic Foams
Airborne noise is controlled through enclosure-based acoustic treatment. Our engineered acoustic materials combine polyurethane foams and cellular rubber technologies to reduce noise through insulation, absorption, and damping.
These solutions can be integrated into both partial and full enclosure designs, helping reduce noise emissions while maintaining overall equipment performance.
